I call myself a creative. It seems to embody the titles that the world looks for. Actor, writer, producer, director. But at the heart and soul of my ,being I am a Mama. My daughter calls me Mama Bear.
When my children were young, I would read to them every night and then I would tell them a story with them as the characters. They helped by adding their own twists and turns to the stories.
Before they were born, I worked at Club Med in Martinique and Cancun and later worked on the Commodities Exchange in New York City. I loved that job. It was me and thousands of young and eligible men who worked all around me.
I thought I would work there forever until I held my daughter in my arms and looked down into her beautiful face, I never wanted to work again. I was born to be her Mama. Four years later, I was blessed to hold my son in my arms. I was in heaven. These two little ones were my gifts from God. They gave me a reason and a purpose.
That’s a little bit about me. Now I want to get to the title. Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Of course it was one of the books I read to my children. It is a classic. I wondered about that innocent time in our world and the world we live in today.
I wondered if that story, if that book would find a publisher in today’s world. It makes me want to research the time that book was published. What was going on in the world, and how comforting that story still is today.
I want to live in a world of wonder. I want the children who are born today to experience love and comfort and care. We are all on our own journey at this time, all over the world. Seeking peace, seeking comfort, seeking love. Well I believe a lot of us are.
I am excited to take this journey with you. Thank you for reading. Until tomorrow.
